These are just a few of the things that took place in the 2010 Vision Challenge with over 400 freshman girls of vision at Oktaha, Muskogee High, Hilldale High, and MAPS.
Dream Essay
Megan Palmer of Hilldale won first place in the 2010 Dream Essay Contest with her essay titled “Heaven’s Paws and Claws“. Megan plans to be a vet someday and own her own clinic. She won a thousand dollar scholarship to use at any university.
Several girls from MHS traveled to Camp Bennett and cleaned up broken limbs and branches.
Camp Bennett is near Honor Heights and offers camps throughout the summer for disabled adults and children. We all had fun in spite of the ticks and hot weather.
Afterwards, a few MHS girls showed Women of Vision, Penny Kampf and Renee Frederick, some new dance moves.
Adventure Each month 400+ freshman girls and 30 Women of Vision talked about ADVENTURE at HHS, OHS, MHS and MAPS.
